SUPPORTED LIVING

User Rights & Tenancy Support
Rights, Choice, and Control
We are committed to protecting and promoting the rights of every person we support. Individuals are treated with dignity and respect and are supported to exercise choice and control over their daily lives, routines, and future plans.
Support is delivered in a way that maximises independence while protecting safety and wellbeing. Restrictions are avoided unless necessary and proportionate, and any limitations are documented and reviewed.

Mental Capacity and Decision-Making
Decision-making is supported in line with legal best-interest principles. We presume capacity unless assessed otherwise and provide practical support to help individuals make their own decisions wherever possible. Where capacity is limited, decisions are made through documented best-interest processes with appropriate involvement.
Tenancy and Housing Support
Supported living means people hold their own tenancy or housing agreement. We support individuals to understand and maintain their tenancy responsibilities.

This includes help with:

-
Understanding tenancy agreements
-
Managing household responsibilities
-
Budgeting and bills
-
Property safety
-
Liaising with landlords or housing providers
-
Maintaining the home environment

Support is clearly separated from housing arrangements to protect tenancy rights.
