Our Workforce and Training Standards
Our staff team is recruited, trained, and supervised to deliver safe, consistent, and person-centred support. We recognise that service quality depends on workforce competence, values, and accountability. Recruitment and development processes are structured to ensure staff are suitable, skilled, and supported in their roles.
Safe Recruitment
All staff are recruited through a safer recruitment process that includes:

No staff member begins unsupervised work until vetting is complete.
Induction and Mandatory Training
All new staff complete a structured induction programme before delivering support independently. Mandatory training is refreshed on a scheduled cycle.

Supervision and Performance Oversight
Staff receive regular supervision, competency observation, and annual appraisal. Supervision includes practice review, safeguarding discussion, incident learning, and development planning. Performance concerns are addressed promptly through structured management processes.
